Overview
NotchDock is provided by Fagore LLC. We collect only the information needed to sell, deliver, support, and license the app. We do not sell personal information.
Website
Our hosting provider, Cloudflare, may process standard request data such as IP address, browser details, timestamps, and security signals to deliver and protect the website. We use Google Analytics to understand aggregate website traffic and usage. Google may process device, browser, interaction, approximate location, and cookie or similar identifier data under its own privacy terms. We do not use this data to sell personal information.
Purchases and licensing
Polar Software Inc. is the Merchant of Record and reseller for purchases. Polar processes checkout, payment, tax, receipt, customer-portal, download, and license-key information under its own privacy terms. NotchDock never receives your full payment-card details.
To activate and periodically validate a license, the app sends the entered license key, a randomly generated pseudonymous device identifier, the app version, and request security data to notchdock.com. Our verification service checks the entitlement with Polar. License state is stored in the macOS Keychain.
App data and optional online features
Notes, prompter text, preferences, and the temporary file shelf are stored locally on your Mac. Online features necessarily contact external services: radio streams and artwork providers, calendar and exchange-rate services, and URL-shortening providers. A URL is shared with a shortening provider only when you ask NotchDock to shorten it. Those providers process requests under their own privacy terms.
Retention, choices, and contact
Purchase and license records are retained as required to provide access, prevent fraud, support customers, and meet legal and tax obligations. You can manage license activations and purchase data through the Polar customer portal. For privacy questions or requests, email support@notchdock.com.
